CyberMark International Selected 2012 Finalist for Prestigious 'Spirit of Enterprise' Award
CyberMark International, recognized as a leader and innovator in internet marketing services for businesses in Arizona and around the world, was recently honored to be named as a 2012 finalist for the coveted Spirit of Enterprise Awards.
The awards are bestowed annually on leading Arizona businesses by the Spirit of Enterprise Center at the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. Five winners of this year’s awards will be announced Nov. 1 at a luncheon at the J.W. Marriott Desert Ridge resort.
“Being selected as a finalist for a Spirit of Enterprise Award is a great honor for us,” said CyberMark founder and CEO Kimberly Judd-Pennie. “This year’s finalists are some of the top businesses in Arizona, and we are truly humbled to be included among such great companies.”
CyberMark International has gained recognition as a pioneering leader and innovator in the competitive, expanding and ever-changing field of internet marketing. Since Judd-Pennie founded CyberMark in 1994, we’ve grown to serve many clients nationwide and even in other countries.
Each nominee for the Spirit of Enterprise Award is required to give in-depth responses to a series of questions about the company’s purpose, values, passions and strategies, as well as its approach to innovation, growth, customer services, continuous improvement and business ethics. Award finalists and winners are also expected to be leaders in their communities with a track record of service toward the community at large.
The Spirit of Enterprise Award was first conferred upon a single Arizona business in 1997. Since 2003, awards have been given to five companies in five different categories annually. Qualifying companies must be for-profit enterprises incorporated or headquartered in Arizona, or that do a majority of their business in the state. Furthermore, nominees must have a minimum of 4 years in business and have been profitable for the last 3 years in the aggregate.
CyberMark International’s selection as a finalist for the 2012 Spirit of Enterprise Award is not the only recent recognition that we’ve received from the business community. The Better Business Bureau of Greater Arizona chose us as the winner of its prestigious 2011 Business Ethics Award after choosing us as a finalist each of the three prior years. As a 2011 winner, we will be entered in the competition for the BBB’s 101st International Torch Awards for Marketplace Excellence in the fall of 2013. Our CEO was also honored to be part of the panel of judges charged with selecting the 2012 Arizona BBB Business Ethics Award winners.
Judd-Pennie was a single mother and self-taught internet marketer when she founded CyberMark International 18 years ago. She was one of the first people to envision the concept of search engine optimization, when she realized that the websites that were being created might never be seen by clients’ potential customers unless the sites were promoted and appeared at the top of search engine results.
The field of search engine optimization has evolved tremendously since 1994, becoming much more competitive as it has attracted many new providers of SEO services over the years. At CyberMark, we stand out by still putting integrity and honesty first.
“We’re committed to educating our clients and creating realistic expectations. Clients respect and trust us because we don’t promise them the world simply to get their business,” explains Judd-Pennie. “CyberMark goes the extra mile to provide great service for our clients. We consistently under-promise and over-deliver.”
CyberMark International continues to be an innovator and leader in internet marketing, search engine optimization, online advertising, web development and design, e-commerce, social media management and online reputation management.
