Blogging for Bigger & Better Website Marketing in 30 Days

If you’re blogging for your business several times a week, kudos to you! If not, take a cue from CyberMark and blog every weekday for the next 30 days, and see what happens. That’s what we’re doing with this blog series, “30 Days to Bigger and Better Website Marketing.”

The fact is that the more often you blog, the bigger and better your website marketing is going to be, as it can:

•    Strengthen your credibility. The more often you blog about the latest and greatest developments in your industry, the more it implies your expertise.

•    Build buzz about new products or services. In fact, you can turn a new product or service introduction into a series of blogs, with each post focusing on a specific benefit and/or feature.

•    Encourage returning visitors. Make your blogging concise, compelling and informative and the more likely visitors will subscribe or bookmark your page.

•    Attract search engines and improve your rank accordingly. Search engines love fresh content as it implies that you are providing visitors with the most up-to-date information about your particular product, service and/or industry. It also gives you an opportunity to strengthen your SEO through keyword integration, not only in the body of your blog but also in the title and tags.

For any hesitation you may have to making a daily blogging commitment, consider this – the simpler your message, the better. In this world of micro-blogging limited to 140 characters (i.e., Twitter), make it short and sweet, then link it with a tweet! Which brings us to the subject of tomorrow’s blog post – marketing your blog via social media.
